Words cannot express how grateful members of the Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club are for all the amazing donations during their annual Peanut Butter Drive. 1,000 jars of peanut butter were collected and donated to Grace Packs, Inc. to then be distributed to local school youth who lack an adequate food supply. Thank you to all who donated including all our club members plus the Rotary Club of Port St. Lucie, Sprockets Bicycle shop, The Brass Monkey Sports Bar and Grill, Salon Vivacious, St. Lucie Trails and Lakeview Bar & Grill, and various neighborhoods including PGA Village, Heritage Oaks, Bedford Park, Country Club Estates and others. Members worked hard to ensure we met our very challenging goal this year.
Over 900 students from 30 schools are receiving Grace Packs at the end of each school week making sure they have food to eat over the weekend. Packs include breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack items, and peanut butter jars.

The March 24 drawing celebration for the $100 raffle ticket sales was a huge success! All three (3) winners received their prize: 1st Place: $5,000; 2nd Place: $1,500; and 3rd Place: $500! Thank you to all those who participated! Funds raised will support our community service projects.

The annual Mac & Cheese drive kicked off in February. All 422 cups and boxes collected were donated to Grace Packs, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack items at the end of each school week to students who may be suffering from food insecurity. Special thanks are extended to all club members and to the Port St. Lucie community members who participated!

In January, members of the PSL Sunset
Rotary Club participated in a Pop-Up Clean-Up event with Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful. Members met bright and early at Rotary Park to pick up their buckets and litter grabbers prior to heading out to the surrounding areas and then returning with their hauls.

This was a great environmental service project working with the community to help clean up our roadways and parks! Debris collected during these events ranged from candy wrappers to more unwieldy items including several tires and a rogue shopping cart!

IIn April, Port St. Lucie celebrated the 56th annual Earth Day by hosting the Caring Community Cleanup as part of the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful (KPSLB) program. 304 volunteers, including Rotarians from the PSL Sunset Rotary Club, demonstrated their commitment to a cleaner, greener city collecting an astonishing 1,820 pounds of litter.

Due to the unusually cold weather being
experienced during January, club members donated a large quantity of blankets to Angels of Hope, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides outreach services to the St. Lucie County homeless.

With the unusual cold weather being experienced, the blankets were received with appreciation and many smiles.

The annual Toy Drive, in partnership with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, was conducted throughout November.
We extend special thanks to all those who contributed.

The wonderful collection of donated gifts was presented to the Deputies during the club's annual holiday celebration.
Deputies distribute these gifts to the countless less fortunate children so they can enjoy a brighter and happier holiday.

Another successful Fun-raiser. Thanks to all who joined us for a delightful fun-filled evening.

What a fantastic night of wine and bourbon tasting! Our attendees were presented with a wide variety of wines and bourbons to savor while munching on goodies in their charcuterie box created by Censational Chef. A raffle drawing was held at the close of the evening with 6 lucky winners going home with their gift.

Thank you to all those who joined us for good food, beverage and camaraderie during our Dine to Donate event at Miller's Ale House! As a result of your participation, Miller's Ale House donated 20% of your total food and beverage purchase to our PSL Sunset Rotary club. These donations will help support our numerous community service programs for our youth and Veterans.

A wonderful time was had by all enjoying good food, beverages and fellowship. The raffles were a great success bringing many smiles to the winners!
Thank you to all those who attended. We appreciate your support.

Members and friends of the Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club enjoyed a delightful evening of fellowship while dining on good food and toasting to another successful event. Thank you to all who supported us during this Fun-raiser.
The Rotary Club of Port St. Lucie and St. Lucie West Lion's Club partnered with the Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary club for our annual literary service project. Special thanks is also extended to the Elk's Lodge 2658 and American Legion Post #318 for their support.
The 46-page booklet includes the US Constitution and Amendments, Declaration of Independence, a learning activity and famous quotes. Teachers use the booklet during classroom instruction and then the student keeps their personal copy to share with family and friends.

PSL Sunset Rotary members were able to purchase 2,000 Constitution booklets to place in the hands of 7th grade Civics class students attending 8 SLC schools.

Members of the Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club were given a tour of Port St. Lucie's oldest, still existing business, the Shell Bazaar. Owner Christine Williams told the story of how her parents opened Shell Bazaar in 1953 and showed us photos from the past 70+ years.
Following the tour, members enjoyed relaxing and eating at Applebees.
