Serving Our Community

Purchasing Constitution Booklets and providing a personal copy to St. Lucie 7th grade Civics class students for use in their civics class. Students then take this valuable booklet home to share with family and friends. 

Collecting and donating jars of peanut butter for Grace Packs, Inc., an organization that provides food to local students who may be suffering from food insecurity.

Conducting food drives to stock school food pantries and to provide needed non-perishable items for Grace Packs that are prepared and sent home with food insecure students in St. Lucie County schools.  The collected items provide weekly weekend nourishment. 

Collecting and donating toys for the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office's Santa  Cop toy drive during the holidays.

Sponsoring “Step up for Kids” project for Graceway Village by collecting and donating new shoes, socks and underwear along with toothbrushes and toothpaste for the underserved and/or homeless children in our community. Graceway Village provides clothing to children and teens of low-income families.

Helping to package and distribute free hot nutritional meals at Graceway Village to individuals and families suffering from food insecurity.

Providing volunteer services for Grace Packs, Inc. by packing meals for food insecure children. These packs contain items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks that are distributed to students at the end of the school week.

Donating annually to the IRSC Endowment Fund for scholarships; providing one student with a Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club scholarship each year.

Supporting the environment by planting a total of 15 trees in Oakwood Park  and Lake Harvey in Port St. Lucie.

Conducting programs and seminars for the general public to help them become more informed about their community, services available and personal safety. 

Providing financial support through donations to numerous local  organizations and Rotary programs including the Treasure Coast Food Bank; Honor Flight; Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County; DDS4Vets; Wreaths Across America; Rotary Youth Leadership Assembly/Awards (RYLA); and Youth and Peace in Action (YPA). 

Providing global financial support for Ak'Tenamit, Polio Eradication and Rotary International Disaster Relief Fund.
